Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) is a higher education from a
member of Georgia with the polytechnic system which has been operating under
the Technical College System of Georgia institutions and something that has the
highest educational institutions provide educational programs of work,
development and training in the development of a workforce to
support economic development, education and people residing in the northwest
area of Georgia with the name of the campus is spread among other Walker
County Campus, Floyd County Texas College, Polk Campus, Gordon County Campus
and Whitfield Murray Campus.
For the campus itself was originally the Coosa Valley Technical College who was then opened in 1962. The name was taken from the name of the Coosa River which flows through Rome, and in addition to the main campus of Northwestern Technical College which is now turned into campus Walker Country, close Georgia sea. After the merger in 2009 occurred on this campus.
