Although the Master of professional accounting degree program full time accounting student grants with additional credit necessary to sit for the CPA exam in the State of Washington, but its main goal is to prepare students for a successful career in their accounting, public accounting, internal Audit or the industry. This program is designed with extensive input from some partner companies are well-known public accounting, and emphasize the skills necessary for success in business, including risk management, effective communication, personal sales skills, problem solving, and teamwork. This program is designed to not only prepare students to meet the educational requirements needed to become a certified public accountant in Washington, but more importantly, the program is designed to give students a competitive edge when they enter their career in the world of accounting professionals.

This program is designed especially for applicants with a Bachelor's degree in accounting. The program includes significant interaction with the business community through guest speakers, projects along with practicing Auditors and business organization, team competitions, receptions and internship opportunity. During the winter, senior students have the opportunity to intern with a public accountant or one of the partners. Internship to gain experience of work is supervised and will be given academic credit. Individual course offerings and curriculum will be updated on a regular basis to ensure that the content remains relevant and challenging.

Some of the Faculty involved in the program-A & MPAcc A has substantial business experience and professional accounting along with teaching credentials, allowing them to share the experience of real life and bringing the perspective of the real world into the classroom.
