Sports activities is one of the most non-academic activities of interest to students of Concordia University Ann Arbor. In addition to a variety of academic programs at the university campus, the university also has a sports team consisting of a team of men and women's teams are nicknamed as the Cardinals. Cardinals are members of the National Association of Inter Athletics (NAIA), which competes with sports teams from other universities in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic competitions Conference (Whac). As for the university's football team competes in the Middle East League of Mid-States Football Association (MSFA).
