Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute or Often abbreviated as CCC & TI, founded in 1964 as Caldwell Technical Institute. CCC & TI is part of the North Carolina Community College System and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees.
Along with the college continues to grow and evolve, the university added a college transfer program to offer in 1969. And in 1970, Caldwell Technical Institute Officially Became "Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute".
Since its establishment until now, CCC & TI continues to the make improvements in all areas, the which include facilities for the addition of Campus Caldwell, Including vocational training centers, improving classrooms and buildings, Broyhill Civic Center, John A.
